An award-winning story about life, loss and mourning is on stage south of Tottenham this spring.
The Blackhorse Village Players' latest production, Rabbit Hole, is a more serious and somber play than their recent comedies.
The play centres on a family that is recovering from the tragic death of a child, with Larry Hines and Chandra Mulder playing the lead roles.
The supporting cast includes Annette Derraugh, Jo-Anna Pulfer and Nicolino De Francesco.
The play is directed by Harry Lavigne.
American playwright David Lindsay-Abaire won the 2007 Pulitzer Prize for drama for the play.
The play will run at Blackhorse March 25 to April 11.
The play will also be the group's entry into the Association of Community Theatres - Central Ontario annual festival.
The play will be judged opening night. Winners are announced April 4.
This play is recommended for adult audiences.
The theatre is on Mount Wolfe Road, west of the intersection at Highway 9 and Tottenham Road.
