The Blackhorse Village Players is thrilled to have received top-honour at this year’s ACT-CO Festival: The BVP’s production of Rabbit Hole by David Lindsay-Abaire was selected to represent Central Ontario at the 2009 Theatre Ontario Festival!
In celebration of this honour, the BVP are hosting a Festival Fundraising Event on Friday, May 1st at 8pm. The BVP will once again be joined by Four Corners Theatre, who return for another night of non-scripted, audience interactive comedy improv!
Four Corners Theatre features Chandra Mulder, who received a Thea for Best Actress in a Leading Role for her performance as ‘Becca’ in the BVP’s production of Rabbit Hole.
In addition to the top-notch entertainment, there will be a silent auction and door prizes. All funds raised will be used to help re-mount the Rabbit Hole production in Ottawa, where the BVP will compete in a four day festival with theatres from Western, Eastern, and Northern Ontario in the hopes of receiving the coveted Elsie (Outstanding Production) Award.
Admission is $10 per person, and includes finger foods and refreshments.
The Blackhorse Theatre is located on the South-West corner of Mount Wolfe Road and Hwy 9 in Caledon. Doors open at 7:30pm; show begins at 8pm.
