The Blackhorse Village Players are thrilled to announce that its production of David Lindsay-Abaire's Rabbit Hole was selected as the recipient of the Elsie Award for Outstanding Festival Production at the 2009 Theatre Ontario Festival, held this past weekend in Ottawa at Kanata Theatre.
In addition, Blackhorse members were also recognized for their individual achievements. The cast of Rabbit Hole (Annette Derraugh, Chandra Mulder, Jo-Anne Pulfer, Larry Hines, and Nicolino De Francesco) were awarded Best Performance by an Ensemble; Pulfer was awarded Outstanding Performance by a Female in a Supporting Role; Mulder was awarded Outstanding Performance by a Female; De Francesco was awarded Outstanding Performance by a Male in a Supporting Role; Hines was nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Male, and Harry Lavigne was awarded Outstanding Director.
Producers Cheryl Lavigne and Cheryl Phillips would like to extend great thanks to an amazing crew, whose countless efforts helped to make this production a success.
